Military Pay

The way the military works, the service member is on military orders even while he is state-side.  When he is deployed, those state-side orders stop, and he gets new orders for the deployment.  Every time this has happened, there has been a hiccup in our pay.  It drives me insane is just another one of those things that has to be dealt with.  We once went for six weeks without a paycheck.  Luckily we had enough in our savings that we were fine, but not everyone does.  I think they need a better system.
